Yoga cikitsa (therapy) believes that we all have the inner resources to heal ourselves, but our attitudes, behaviors, and lifestyle choices can adversely affect this natural healing mechanism and the desire for balance. The goal of yoga therapy is to help the individual feel better about him- or herself and to change attitudes and behaviors contributing to the existing imbalance.
