Part of being a good writer is knowing how to write well. Sounds like a no-brainer, doesn't it? But often, new romance writers sabotage their fledgling careers with poor grammar choices, misspelled words, incorrect punctuation, and other mechanical faux pas. Does that mean you have to be a grammar whiz in order to write a romance novel? Of course not. But you do need to know the basics.
