If you want to keep the reader turning the pages of your romance novel, you'll need to avoid being predictable. After all, if your reader can figure out what will happen next long before she turns the page, she'll soon become bored.

And a bored reader is a reader who will likely put down your novel.

Keep her guessing. Find new twists on classic plotlines. Push the boundaries of your creative limits. Don't be afraid to try something new.
