Bugs are everywhere. In fact, there are more insects on this planet than there are animals and people combined. They exist in cities, towns, and rural areas. They have been found on mountaintops, in deep caves, in deserts and ice fields, puddles and oceans, and forests and plains. Bugs also live in our backyards and houses. Even the cleanest home has insects. You might not see them, but they do exist. Some are even microscopic. Entomologists have identified about one million insect species, and most believe that there are many more — anywhere between 10 million and 30 million.
