Avocado Bagel

This sandwich is on an untoasted bagel, so be sure to use a fresh, chewy bagel. You can also slice the bagel in thirds horizontally, adding a bit more onion and slicing the avocado thinly.

2 ounces whipped cream cheese

1 whole-wheat bagel, sliced

1 slice tomato

1 slice red onion

½ avocado, sliced

¼ cup alfalfa sprouts

  • Spread the cream cheese on both halves of the bagel.

  • Layer the tomato, red onion, avocado, and alfalfa sprouts on the bottomhalf of the bagel.

  • Top with the other half of the bagel and cut the sandwich in half.
