When You Can't Go Wrong
It's hard to make a nondelicious cookie or bar when you use chocolate chips and nuts. Stick with whole-wheat flour whenever possible or cut white flour with a grain flour. All sorts of nuts work for the fiber balance. Try mixing various sorts of toasted nuts, such as sweet hazelnuts with more tart walnuts. Mix almonds with pecans for a new crunch.
