Hazelnut Sticks

Cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until smooth.
Add the egg, beat it in, and scrape down the sides of the bowl.
3. Add the hazelnuts and mix. Add the flour and mix to combine.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap, press it down into a fi″-thick, 3″-wide rectangle and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or siliconemats. Remove the dough from the freezer, unwrap, and slice into fi″-thick sticks. Bake 10 minutes, turn the cookies over, and bake 5–10 minutes longer, depending on how dark you want them to be. Cool on a rack.
