Once you start making the guest list, make sure to stay organized. You must be thorough and complete when collecting the invitation information. There is nothing worse than a guest receiving an invitation with their names misspelled, or having your beautiful invitations returned “Address Unknown.”

Information Confirmation

Check to make sure that the following information is correct before mailing any invitations. If you're not 100 percent sure on any point, ask someone who would know, or ask the person in question. Collect all of the proper information for each guest and record it on the Wedding Guest Checklist that follows, so that when it comes to invitation time, you are ready to go!

Spelling of names

Titles (doctors, military personnel, etc.)

Addresses

Names of significant others

Phone numbers (just in case you need to call a late responder, or if any of your friends or family want to contact guests to invite them to showers or other parties in your honor)
