The Hib vaccine is perhaps one of the least controversial vaccines today. This vaccine worked incredibly well right from the moment it was invented, virtually eliminating a devastating brain infection in children. This vaccine only has mild reactions; the only concern about this vaccine was that at one point it used to contain the preservative thimerosal. But thimerosal has been removed from this and all other pediatric vaccines.
