Getting Around Wicklow, Wexford, and Waterford
Getting to the southeast of the Republic is easy due to its accessibility from Dublin. Bray, at the northern tip of Wicklow, for example, is only 20km (12 miles) from the southern tip of Dublin. Wexford is farther down the coast at 140km (86 miles) from Dublin and only one and a half hours from Wicklow. Waterford is west 65km (40 miles) from Wexford and 160km (100 miles) southwest of Dublin.

No current bus routes connect to the Waterford Airport. Outside the terminal, if no cabs are available, try the Waterford Taxi Co-op (051 877 778) or Rapid Cabs (051 858 585). If you are staying at a hotel or B&B, contact them beforehand about transport options into town, especially if arriving at night.

Once on the south side of Dublin, you can take the scenic R755 to Glendalough, County Wicklow, or continue along the coast on the N11 through Wicklow town, Arklow, and down to Wexford and Rosslare harbors. If skipping Wexford, turn onto the N30 in Ennis-corthy to head toward Waterford.
