Miso Soup

This simple soup of miso broth with chunks of tofu and bits of green onion in it is perfect before sushi.

SERVES 4

3 cups water

4 tablespoons miso

½ cup cubed tofu

1 sliced green onion

  • Boil the water and combine it with the miso.

  • Divide the tofu among four bowls. Pour the miso broth into the bowls and garnish with the green onion.

  • Serve hot.
