French Toast Pinchos
If you're not a fan of mixing sweet and meat in the same bite, substitute sliced peaches for the sausage. Older bread is best for this recipe.
SERVES 6
Combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl using a whisk.
Dip the bread slices in the custard, drain the excess, and panfry in melted butter on both sides.
Brown the sausage links and cut in half.
Put one piece of sausage on one piece of French toast and insert a toothpick.

Cut up Belgian waffles and put them on toothpicks with whipped cream cheese and sliced strawberries for another brunch pincho.
