Jamaican Cider

This drink of rum and cider can be served hot or cold. For the hot version, omit the ginger ale and heat and serve it in a mug with the cinnamon stick.

SERVES 1

1 ounce Myers's Rum (Jamaican dark rum)

3 ounces apple cider

2 ounces ginger ale

1 cinnamon stick

  • Fill a cocktail shaker ¼ full with ice.

  • Pour the apple cider and rum into the cocktail shaker and shake.

  • Strain the drink into a glass.

  • Pour the ginger ale into the glass.

  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Spiced rum can be substituted for dark rum in the recipe above.
