Your Stress, Your Reproductive Fitness

Stress can lower testosterone production. And lower testosterone levels result in a lower sperm count, which can drastically reduce a man's reproductive fitness. If you and your partner are trying to get pregnant, stress management is just as important for you as it is for her. How can you get back on the reproductive track? The same way your partner can. Do it together:

  • Get daily moderate exercise.

  • Eat healthy foods.

  • Get sufficient sleep.

  • Drink plenty of water.

  • Meditate or practice relaxation techniques daily.

  • Practice breathing deeply.

  • Make a conscious effort to have a positive attitude.

  • If you really aren't able to control something, let it go.
