The item you choose to represent what you want to sell is especially important in this spell. If, for instance, you're a realtor trying to sell a particular house or property, you might choose a little house from a Monopoly game to represent the property. If you want to sell a manuscript or screenplay, then perhaps a book or a video can serve as a symbol. On a piece of paper, write your intention in the form of an affirmation, in the present tense: “My screenplay sells for a large sum of money” or “The Smith house is now sold.” Slip this affirmation under the item that symbolizes your desire.

On the first night, dress the red candle with oil. As you light the candle, say your wish out loud three times. Red is the color of action and energy. Leave the candle on your altar (or another safe place) and allow it to burn out naturally. On the second night, repeat this ritual with the gold candle. Gold represents your intention to make money. Again, let the candle burn out — don't blow it out. On the third night, light the purple candle. Purple symbolizes spiritual power, wisdom, and your highest good. When the purple candle finishes burning, burn the piece of paper on which you've written your affirmation to release your wish into the cosmos.
