Tools:

• 1 ballpoint pen

• 1 gold candle

• Peppermint essential oil

• 1 $20 bill

When:

• During the waxing moon, preferably on a Thursday night, at least a week before the full moon

The bill you use to represent your raise can be of any denomination. It's merely a symbol, though many people like to choose a bill that is a tenth of the amount they intend to manifest. With the pen, inscribe words such as wealth or prosperity on the candle. You may also include images that represent money, such as dollar signs. Then, dress the candle with peppermint oil, set it on top of the bill, and light the candle. As you gaze into the flame, say aloud:

Element of fire,

Fulfill my desire,

The raise I seek,

I receive this week.

Allow the candle to burn for as long as you can focus on your attention, and then snuff it out. Repeat the procedure each night for a week, and on the last night let the candle finish burning down completely. (If you receive your raise before the week is up, give thanks and discontinue the process.)
