Using the basic hand-milling recipe, your choice of the double boiler method on page 211, the slow cooker method on page 212, or the microwave method on page 213, the additions of extra-rich ingredients in the following recipes make these soaps a luxury. Packed with moisture and precious scent, they're sure to please. Don't save them for too long. Fresh ingredients are best when used within three months.

Chocolate Indulgence

1 pound shredded soap

1 ounce crushed cocoa butter

1 ounce bittersweet chocolate chips

6 ounces milk

Rose Fantasy

1 pound shredded soap

6 ounces rosewater

8 to 10 drops rose otto

1 teaspoon glycerin

Shea Butter Dream

1 pound shredded soap

6 ounces orange flower water

1 teaspoon shea butter
