Casting Soap Woes

  • The soap is sweaty.

It is normal for casting soap that has been sitting out to collect moisture on the surface after a day or so. If the soap is sweaty right away, or before you've even used it, you may have overheated the soap or you may have purchased a low-quality base.

  • The soap smells bad and is slimy.

You may have purchased a low-quality base or base that has been exposed to extreme temperatures during shipping.

  • The embedded objects have bubbles on them.

You needed to spray them with more rubbing alcohol.
