The Final Question

Did the Stratford man, William Shakespeare, write the plays that have been attributed to his name? The case for the contenders, such as the Earl of Oxford, Sir Francis Bacon, and Christopher Marlowe, have been presented, as has the case for the man from Stratford-upon-Avon. The answer to this final question is unmistakable: Not one of the 58 candidates wrote in a style remotely like Shakespeare. As Stanley Wells said. “Shakespeare's works are imaginative. His voice is unique.”
