If you're expecting to see some sort of proper clinical setting when you walk into a sensory integration therapy room, you'll be in for a surprise. Rather than couches or tables or sophisticated equipment, you're likely to find gym mats on the floor, a ball pit in a corner, swings descending from the ceiling, a bin of rice, bikes, and scooters. Your first impression may be that you've stumbled into the playroom by mistake.
