Hypnosis Birthing

Natural forms of hypnosis childbirth have become very popular in recent years. Many birthing mothers and couples are becoming aware of natural forms of pain management and hypnosis relaxation as a way to eliminate the need for anesthesia that in many cases can hinder the enjoyment of such a beautiful experience.

Fear and Expectation

Fear and anxiety cause the body to tense up. This tensing of the body during childbirth can cause many difficulties and is often one of the major causes of pain and discomfort. It is important to be able to relax and let go completely during the procedure so as to allow the natural process to flow freely.

It is important to realize that fear and anxiety are subjective and not objective. This means that you cannot hold them or display them in any way. They are in your head. Although they may seem very real to you, in fact, they are not real at all. They are expectations of future events.

If you are afraid that there will be pain and discomfort coming up very shortly, this will create anxiety in you that will cause you to tense up and in turn display the pain that you expected. Keep in mind that your subconscious mind will give you exactly what you ask for, and if you are focusing on pain, you will receive it.

Alert!

It is extremely important before attempting to utilize hypnosis or any other natural relaxation or pain reduction technique to check with a proper medical professional to ensure that these techniques are appropriate for you. Just as every birthing mother is different, so too are people's reactions and levels of success with hypnosis.

In order to eliminate fear and anxiety, realize that they do not exist in the present. They only exist in the past and in the future. At this very moment everything is okay and stress free. This very moment, all that is important for you is right now. Think about how you are feeling right at this very moment. You are fine and it is okay to feel the way you are feeling right now. This is the best that life has to give you at this moment.

There is a relaxation script and a breathing script that will help you through the birthing process by teaching you how to focus on the now, even while you are in a situation where you think you may be worried. It is a breathing exercise that will help you let go of future expectations as well as negativity that you may have had from the past.
