There are many ways to enjoy life. This script will help you enjoy life from within through happiness, mindfulness, and intention, which will lead you to long-lasting enjoyment.
Take a moment to identify what you desire most in life. What are your goals? What do you feel will truly bring you happiness?
Happiness occurs in the present. The past is gone and the future has not arrived yet.
Happiness is all that you have. Keep in mind that enjoying life is a choice. You can make a choice to be happy, and you can also make a choice to be sad. You choose to be happy. You choose to enjoy each moment of your life.
From this moment forward you find new ways to enjoy your life. Even throughout a day of routine you can enjoy your life more than you ever have if you choose to. All you need to do is to break down each portion of your day, whether it be routine or not, and ask yourself how you can make that portion of your day better.
Take a moment right now and imagine the rest of this day. What will you be doing immediately upon finishing this session? Whatever it is that you will be doing, what can you do to make it better? Seriously consider that question. How can you make it better? Even if it is as simple a task as going to the grocery store, what can you do differently to enjoy life? Perhaps this time you can play your favorite music while you are driving there. Perhaps rather than walking to your vehicle you can run and enjoy the invigoration of exercise. Perhaps at the grocery store you may buy something special just to treat yourself. You may even greet the cashier with an extra warm smile, showing true concern in how she is doing. You may even take the opportunity to help someone struggling with a large package or purchase.
One of the most powerful means of happiness is being of service to others. By being of service to others you are enhancing your own life. By making someone else happy, it makes you happy. By helping someone you are helping yourself. Take the time to think of how you can brighten up someone else's day, whether it be through a simple compliment or actually helping someone in some way.
By making a constant practice of improving the various segments of your day, even if they are mundane segments, you will find that you will enjoy life more than you could have ever dreamed. Enjoy your life … enjoy being happy. You have a right to be happy and to enjoy everything that you do.
