Abraham Lincoln once said, “I will work and prepare, and soon, my day will come.” This came from a man who lost scores of elections; suffered through a nervous breakdown, his wife's nervous breakdown, and the death of a child; and went bankrupt. Optimism and positive thinking in the face of tragedy and distress have seen many a person go from tragedy to triumph.
