Four books make up the Gospels. These books captured the life of Jesus, his teachings, miracles, and, most important, his Crucifixion and Resurrection and the message he sought to impart. They are attributed to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, who wrote from their own perspectives in different times and different places. The Gospel accounts work together as a mosaic, each offering pieces of the puzzle that made up the life of Christ.
