Prepositions and conjunctions are the small words that always pose difficulties for students of foreign languages. Neither Russian prepositions nor Russian conjunctions translate literally into English. Prepositions and conjunctions have to be practiced in context because their choice is often connected to the choice of the verb and to the case of connected nouns.
