Since the first edition of this book was released back in 2002, the Internet has exploded with new sites on running, from running barefoot to ultra-running. The sites included here are just a sampling of what's available online. If you search for something specific, like “running vacations,” you're sure to tap into sites that seem custom-made for your interests.
A great place to begin your search is at Marathon Training. Go to the site map, and then look under “Running Links.” There you will find a listing of useful sites that is continuously updated and added to. It includes general links, marathon training, online record-keeping, calendars, gear, and much more. The following annotated sites are some favorites as well.
