Packing Your Running Gear

Here's how to pack your gear: Designate two small bags for your running gear. One is for your running shoes (a plastic shopping bag is good for these) and the other for your running clothes and necessary accessories. In this second bag put either your warm-weather gear (shorts, short-sleeve T-shirt or singlet, running bra, etc.) or your cold-weather gear (leggings, thermal top, running bra, long-sleeve T-shirt, gloves, hat, etc) as well as your all-important running watch for all seasons.

Even if you're going someplace cold and need extra gear, this won't weigh much. Wouldn't you rather lug around the extra pounds your gear weighs than the extra pounds you'll weigh if you don't run while you're gone?
