The first place your rottweiler should be socialized at is puppy kindergarten, or KPT. This class allows puppies younger than six months to meet with other puppies and their owners in a positive environment. KPT allows the puppy time to interact with the other puppies and people and learn that what might appear to be a scary situation is actually harmless. Puppies also learn some rudimentary commands. A KPT class is normally six to eight weeks long. All puppies should go through KPT after they receive their vaccinations.
