Postpone Indefinitely

Want to get rid of the main motion for the length of the meeting without having the membership debate it and vote on it? Then postpone indefinitely is your motion. A member should say, “I move to postpone the motion indefinitely.”

Postpone indefinitely needs a second, can't be amended (however, it can be amended while motion is pending), and can be debated (and debate is allowed on the main motion's merits). Reconsideration allowed if an affirmative vote is received.
