There are three levels of basic training in Usui Reiki: Level I, Level II, and Level III. At the highest level, you may become a Master/Teacher, but being certified in the highest level does not necessarily reflect superior knowledge. It is through the continued practice of Reiki that one becomes proficient. The Level I practitioner who uses Reiki daily will be more aware of how Reiki works than a Level III Reiki Master/Teacher who seldom conducts treatments.
