Getting Personal
A good real estate agent gets to know her clients and customers on a personal level. She learns what they like and don't like. If it is a couple or a family, she sees the interaction between them. She learns how they act under pressure and how they handle things when they are pleased. She knows their financial history, if they have good credit or bad, and how much money they make. In order to help them be more comfortable in sharing about themselves, she probably relates her own life stories back to them as well. Sharing in this personal way can create very strong bonds between the agent and her clients. These bonds go beyond business, beyond agent and client, and extend into the bonds of true and lasting friendships. Many agents will tell you that their deepest and closest friendships started out as real estate transactions. When you care about someone at this level and when you know someone this well, you will be able to serve their needs better. Your deeper relationships with your clients and customers will enrich all of your lives and will be a part of what creates the road to both personal and financial success for you and those whose lives you touch.
