Word of Mouth

The best promotion you can receive is the word of others. If you sold a house to the owner of a small business and she is happy with your service, ask her to keep your business cards on her counter or in a prominent place in the store. If you frequent the local gym, you may want to give your clients and customers from the gym T-shirts with your contact information on them. Give your friends, family members, clients, and customers some of your business cards in a business card holder to hand out when they hear of someone interested in real estate. Ask them to get the contact information of the person they talked to and pass it to you as well.

By being consistent and far-reaching with your personal marketing, more and more people will come to recognize your name and associate it with real estate. When they are looking for an agent, they'll look no further than your next promotional piece!
