Raw Hemp Protein Shake with Papaya
This is a delicious, protein-rich shake that supplies all the essential amino acids. The almond milk may be replaced with orange juice, water, or water with a tablespoon of almond butter. Good protein-rich substitutes for the hemp include green superfood powders, maca, and bee pollen.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 2
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 cup Almond Milk
- 1 cup frozen or fresh banana, mango, or papaya
- 2 tablespoons hemp seed or other protein powder
- ¼ cup dates, pitted
Slice the vanilla bean in half. Using a knife, scrape out the seeds into a blender.
Place remaining ingredients into the blender and blend together until smooth.
