Persimmon Pineapple Smoothie
This smoothie has a rich, candy-like flavor. Carob or mesquite powder is a good substitute for the cacao.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 2
- 1 cup pineapple, cubed
- 2 persimmons (approximately ½ cup fruit)
- ½ cup banana
- Pulp from ½ vanilla bean
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
Place the pineapple in the blender.
Cut open the persimmon, scoop out the fruit, and add to the blender.
Place all remaining ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Add just enough water to reach desired consistency.
