Basic Green Smoothie with Pears
This is an easy and delicious way to get your daily requirement of fresh green vegetables.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 2
- 4 cups pear, chopped
- 6 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cups water
- 4 cups lettuce, chopped
- 1 tablespoon mint (optional)
Place pears, lemon juice, and water into the blender. Blend for a short time until ingredients are mixed well.
Gradually add in the lettuce and continue blending until smooth.
Add the chopped mint last and pulse until blended. If you blend herbs such as mint for too long, they become bitter.
