Savory Green Beans
This is a great way to prepare green beans. Herbamare is a blend of fourteen different savory dried herbs. The Herbamare may be replaced with your favorite blend of dried herbs. Use a curry powder or oriental seasoning blend to spice up the beans.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4
- 1 teaspoon Herbamare or savory herb seasoning blend
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups green beans
Stir together the Herbamare, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.
Place the green beans in a large bowl. Pour the sauce onto the beans and stir to coat the beans. Marinate for 3 hours at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.
To speed up the marinating process, you can put the beans in a dehydrator for 2 hours at 110°F.
