Cool Cucumbers
A member of the melon family, cucumbers are inexpensive, nutritious, and easy to grow, with low sugar and high water content that helps you stay hydrated. They are a great kidney cleanser, acting as a diuretic to help clean the kidney and bladder of debris. Cukes are the perfect summer salad vegetable — cooling, refreshing, alkaline, and rich in nutrients.
