Grapefruit
Grapefruit is a tasty but bitter citrus fruit, high in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytonutrients including vitamin C, B5, B6, and folate. Research has found that it promotes stable blood sugar and that it is a mild natural appetite suppressant that promotes weight loss. Be sure to remove the bitter inner white rind when preparing the grapefruit for this salad.
