Raw Swiss Muesli

This is an easy breakfast that will store for a couple of months in an airtight container. If you will be storing it, do not add the agave nectar, lemon juice, bananas, or the apples until you are ready to eat it. This recipe tastes good with tart Granny Smith apples.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 2

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds, soaked
  • ½ cup walnuts, soaked
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon carob powder
  • ½ cup sliced banana
  • ½ cup grated apple
  • 4 tablespoons raisins (optional)
  • 2 cups Almond Milk
  1. Place the oats, sunflower seeds, walnuts, agave nectar, lemon juice, and carob powder into a large bowl. Stir the ingredients until well combined.

  2. Add the banana slices and grated apple to the muesli (reserve a few banana slices for garnish).

  3. Pour the muesli into breakfast bowls.

  4. Garnish with banana rounds, add raisins if desired, and pour in the Almond Milk.
