Spiced Almond Falafels
This recipe is delicious served with pasta dishes and with salads. These falafels are dehydrated and have a texture similar to cooked falafels.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4
- 2 cups almonds, soaked
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sage
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
- 2 tablespoons liquid coconut oil
Using a food processor with an S blade, process all the ingredients together.
Form into little balls and dehydrate at 145°F for 2 hours.
Turn down the temperature and continue dehydrating at 115°F for 12 hours.
