Spiced Almond Falafels

This recipe is delicious served with pasta dishes and with salads. These falafels are dehydrated and have a texture similar to cooked falafels.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4

  • 2 cups almonds, soaked
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sage
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
  • 2 tablespoons liquid coconut oil
  1. Using a food processor with an S blade, process all the ingredients together.

  2. Form into little balls and dehydrate at 145°F for 2 hours.

  3. Turn down the temperature and continue dehydrating at 115°F for 12 hours.
