Spicy Marinated Nuts

These are good snacks to travel with and will stay fresh in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4

  • 3 cups mixed nuts (Brazil nuts, cashews, walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
  • 4 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 2 tablespoons tamari
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
  1. Mix all ingredients together in bowl until the nuts are covered.

  2. Let the nuts marinate for 3 hours at room temperature.

  3. Pour off excess liquid and store nuts in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
