Spicy Marinated Nuts
These are good snacks to travel with and will stay fresh in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 4
- 3 cups mixed nuts (Brazil nuts, cashews, walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
- 4 tablespoons agave nectar
- 2 tablespoons tamari
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
Mix all ingredients together in bowl until the nuts are covered.
Let the nuts marinate for 3 hours at room temperature.
Pour off excess liquid and store nuts in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
