  • About.com Toddlers: About.com resource for information and advice for all stages of toddler development.

  • Parenting: From Parenting magazine, this Web site includes archived articles on age-specific subjects, broken down by health, nutrition, and other categories. Information is very detailed. You can read, for example, “Backpack Ready Baby” and “Look Who's Walking!” Includes separate articles for mothers.

  • Parent & Child: This site has short, informative articles as well as timely stories. It is much more like a traditional magazine than others. Includes cultural information as well as health, wellness, and developmental items.

  • iVillage: Click on the parenting tab, then locate the age of your child to read more on a range of issues. Included are reliable health information, quizzes, nutrition and recipes, as well as shopping info and crafts. Some information comes from magazines associated with iVillage, including Good Housekeeping and Redbook.
