Sesame Spinach
Toasted sesame seeds add a fragrant, nutty flavor to this simple vegetable dish. Use margarine instead of butter if desired.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 7–8 minutes
1 cup water
2 cups frozen spinach
2 teaspoons butter
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the frozen spinach and return to a boil.
Turn the heat down to medium, cover, and simmer until the spinach is heated through (about 5 minutes).
Drain the cooked spinach in a colander.
Place in a bowl and stir in the butter and Worcestershire sauce
Garnish with the toasted sesame seeds.
How to Toast Sesame Seeds
Spread the seeds out in a frying pan and cook on low-medium heat, shaking the pan occasionally, until the seeds are fragrant and turn a light golden brown. If not using immediately, store the sesame seeds in a sealed container in the cupboard.
