Serves 4

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 7–8 minutes

1 cup water

2 cups frozen spinach

2 teaspoons butter

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

4 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

  • In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the frozen spinach and return to a boil.

  • Turn the heat down to medium, cover, and simmer until the spinach is heated through (about 5 minutes).

  • Drain the cooked spinach in a colander.

  • Place in a bowl and stir in the butter and Worcestershire sauce

  • Garnish with the toasted sesame seeds.

How to Toast Sesame Seeds

Spread the seeds out in a frying pan and cook on low-medium heat, shaking the pan occasionally, until the seeds are fragrant and turn a light golden brown. If not using immediately, store the sesame seeds in a sealed container in the cupboard.
