Five-Ingredient Frozen Lemon Pie

Sweetened condensed milk lends texture and flavor, while Cool Whip adds a sweet decadence to this easy recipe that kids will love. Be sure to use a quality lemon juice from concentrate, such as ReaLemon.

Serves 6

Preparation time: 5–8 minutes

1 cup Cool Whip Lite whipped topping, thawed

½ cup sweetened condensed milk

½ cup lemon juice

1½ tablespoons sweetened coconut flakes

1 pre-made 9″ graham cracker pie crust

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Cool Whip topping, sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and coconut flakes.

  • Spoon the mixture into the pie crust.

  • Cover and freeze until set. Let thaw for 5 minutes before serving.

Fun with Cool Whip

Cool Whip is a nondairy imitation whipped cream that is used to make frozen pies and as a dessert topping. The beauty of Cool Whip is that there's no whipping involved — it's ready to use straight from the container. However, if you're one of those people who think that it tastes a little bland, you can stir in some fruit juice for extra flavor.
