Meaty Mostaccioli
There are many varieties of jarred pasta sauce; you can find it with lots of vegetables, with meat, or just plain. Pick your favorite for this easy recipe.
SERVES 4–6
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups uncooked mostaccioli pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 28-ounce jar pasta sauce
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Bring a large pot of water to boil and cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in heavy saucepan, cook ground beef with onion until beef is browned, stirring frequently to break up meat. Drain well, if necessary.
Add pasta sauce to ground beef mixture and bring to a simmer.
When pasta is cooked al dente, drain and place on serving plate. Cover with pasta sauce mixture, sprinkle with cheese, and serve.
