Know Your Absolute Limits

Your abdominal muscles are so important to your overall health and fitness level that it pays to really respect these muscles. Including some form of abs work in every workout can be very easy to do. However, remember to be wary of too much exercise or exercises that are too much for your stage of pregnancy.

Is it possible to have abdominal muscles that are too strong?

If you have great abs prior to pregnancy, you may worry that your six-pack will prevent your body from growing and expanding as it should. It is important to note that this is not the case, and your baby will grow just fine. Be sure to check with your practitioner at every visit for an update of your uterine growth.
