The best exercise for you and your postpartum body will be the one that you stick to on a regular basis. Identifying the problem areas will assist you in feeling more in control of your body.

Your new body will likely be very different from what you imagined. There will be some areas that are better than you anticipated, while others will be more problematic than you expected.

Many women judge their recovery based on the scale, but this is not the appropriate way to judge how well you are getting back into shape. Even after you've lost the weight you've gained in pregnancy, your body is likely to be different.

Instead, it's best to focus on how you're feeling and how you are looking. The more fit you are, the better you will feel, mentally as well as physically. You will have fewer sleep and digestive troubles. You will be able to feel good while exercising and actually miss it when you're unable to work out.
