Pumpkin Pie Pizza
Try this aromatic pizza at your next holiday gathering. It's a fun alternative to traditional pumpkin pie.
Makes two 12-inch pizzas
INGREDIENTS
- ½ recipe Sweet Crust dough
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 (15-ounce) cans pumpkin pie filling
- 1 cup toasted pecans
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup Cream Cheese Sauce
- 1 cup Caramel Sauce
Roll or press pizza dough into two 12-inch circles, slightly thicker at the edges than in the center. Coat each pizza pan with ½ tablespoon melted butter and place dough in the pans.
Brush dough with remaining butter. Top each pizza with 1 can of pumpkin pie filling, spread evenly over the crust. Sprinkle each with pecans and brown sugar.
Bake pizzas at 375° for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for a few minutes.
Use plastic squirt bottles to add Cream Cheese Sauce and Caramel Sauce to pizzas in a crisscross pattern. Serve warm.
