Evaluation and Significance

The writings of Dawkins and Sagan have had the effect of making religions substantiate and back up their own claims about the world. The high spirits of people such as Dawkins, and Christopher Hitchens, author of God Is Not Great, suggest that you can't go easy on religions and let them get away with unsubstantiated theses and dangerous dogmas. In recent times, no one has come near to the arguments presented by these men.
