Wherever possible, children with Asperger's Syndrome should be fully included with their same-age peers in regular classrooms. In an inclusive environment, your child may enjoy the opportunity to grow socially and academically. But inclusion, in and of itself, is not enough. A range of professionals who support your child's education must have a working understanding of your child's individual needs. Without such collaboration, your child may face social and educational challenges in a typical school environment.
